Camomile flowers are used as an antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, analgesic, choleretic, laxative, hemostatic, antiallergic, sedative and diaphoretic. Green tea, chamomile flowers.

Characteristic:
Chamomile flowers contain essential oil (which includes prochamazulene, chamazulene, lactones matrikarin, matricin), glycoside apiin, apigenin, choline, salicylic, nicotinic, ascorbic acids, carotene, fatty acids, mucus, resins, flavonoids, tannins, coumarins, phytosterols.

Useful properties of chamomile flowers:
It has been established that the essential oils that make up chamomile have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, analgesic and sedative effects. Chamomile azulene-chamazulene weakens the body's allergic reactions, accelerates regeneration processes, while apigenin and apiin have an antispasmodic effect. It also has choleretic, laxative, hemostatic and diaphoretic properties. 

Scope of application:

Chamomile flowers are recommended:

In the form of an infusion of chamomile flowers (inside): 

  • for migraine and various headaches;
  • for neuroses, hysteria, increased nervous excitability, insomnia;
  • for convulsions, chorea, epilepsy, trigeminal neuralgia;
  • for irregular menstrual cycle, painful menstruation, uterine bleeding;
  • for pyelonephritis, cystitis, colpitis, urethritis;
  • for inflammation of the liver, gallbladder;
  • for gastritis with high acidity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, enterocolitis, heartburn, flatulence.

For external use:

  • gargling for sore throat, laryngitis, stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontal disease and bad breath;
  • washing with infusion, the skin will become tender, matte and velvety, wrinkles are smoothed out, the skin is toned, irritation and acne disappear;
  • washing with infusion for conjunctivitis, barley, fatigue and irritation of the eyes, "sand" in the eyes;  
  • washing the head with a decoction for dandruff, hair loss, to give the hair a beautiful shade and strengthen it;
  • lotions for weeping and difficult to heal rashes, eczema, seborrhea, neurodermatitis, skin itching;

Method of preparation
Infusion: 1 tbsp. Pour a spoonful of raw materials with 400 ml of boiling water, cover and infuse for 30 minutes. Strain.

For external use: For infusions and decoctions, take 3-4 tablespoons of raw materials for 2 cups of boiling water.

Recommendations for use:
The infusion is taken orally 1/2 cup 3-4 times a day before meals in a warm form.

For mouth and throat rinses, take 1/2-1 cup of warm infusion 3-5 times a day.

For enemas, use 50 ml of warm infusion 1-2 times a day.

Duration of appointment:
For the treatment and prevention of diseases according to indications.
